May 2023 Updates

I haven’t come up with a snappy title for these announcement posts yet. If you have an idea, leave a comment!

  • I’m back to KMS part time, but I’m also starting a new job tomorrow, so we’ll see where that leaves me. I still don’t have a full diagnosis, but improvements have been made and I’m thankful for them.
  • I am doing better after my time off. The last six months have been a roller coaster–there’s been legal drama, house hunting, vet trips–I thought one of my cats was dying–unemployment, re-employment…It’s just been a huge mess. Even if I wasn’t having health issues, I would have needed to take some time off just to deal with all of it.
  • While I wasn’t working, I spent a lot of time making videos over on youtube. There are knitting podcasts, write with me videos, and more. If you haven’t yet, why not check some of them out?
  • My Twitter account has been increasingly neglected due to changes on the platform. It’s the social media that works best for me, but anymore I just have no idea what’s going on, and I don’t like the direction it’s taking. So if you want to keep up with me, make sure you are subscribed here or on the mailing list (look to your right for a sign up) for news and announcements. I also put video news on the community tab on Youtube.
  • I’m going to try going back to weekly posts, but as I mentioned earlier, the blog is not my main priority right now. Until things are more settled, I need to focus on things that are bringing me income, which means Patreon and writing/publishing, and limited client editing work.
  • I will be posting an updated publication schedule/plans for the rest of the year in June.

I think that is all I have for the moment. If there is something in particular you’re clamoring for, leave me a comment and I will answer all the questions I can.

In the mean time, if you’re also dealing with some mental health issues and feeling low, why not pick up a book about someone who has all that, and still needs to fight evil?
