#HouseCupReadingChallenge Wrap Up

Well, the readathon is over. It was an interesting experience. I didn’t read as much as I wanted to, but I did read more than I normally would have, I think.

So what was the break down? Well, I read a total of 8 books (3 were started before the readathon began, but were less than 50% complete at the time).

In addition to the 1765 pages I read in completed books, I also read 350 pages in the Aeronaught’s Windlass, and 169 pages in the Charlotte Bronte biography, for a total of 2,284 pages. For four weeks, that’s quite a lot, I think.

Unfortunately, because most of those were 400+ pages and took a good chunk of time to get through, I’m behind yet again on my Goodreads challenge. Well, more like I’m still behind. I was within one book of being caught up, but then Nanowrimo started and it all went downhill from there.

Still, I think that’s a pretty good showing. I’m not sure if I’ll do it again, though. I tend to put enough pressure on myself for random things already. I don’t need to add reading to the list.
