Nano Boot Camp: Week 3

We’ve been escalating quickly the last couple of weeks, but now it’s time to knuckle down and really get in the habit of getting those words down. Before I started writing professionally, I always felt like 750 words was the hardest hurdle.

  1. 750 words per day
  2. Write 5x per week
  3. Continue with your research. Hopefully you made a lot of progress last week, and any library books you needed to reserve have come in. Time to get cracking!

I usually like to do my writing in 2 one-hour blocks in the afternoon and evening, but I know a lot of people swear by the pomodoro method (working in 20-30 minute chunks spaced through the day) or even 10-15 minute sprints whenever they get the chance. Do whatever works best for you.
