New Book, New Pattern!

THE FERRYMEN will be out tomorrow, but you can still set up a pre-order on Amazon. As an added bonus, I’ve set up a new pattern to go with the book!

This easy sock pattern can be found in my Ravelry shop, or on the Patterns tab at the top of the page. The ankle length version takes about 50g of fingering weight yarn for one pair, and can easily be knocked out in a week or so. Or, you could make them longer if you want.

This pattern was inspired by a character in The Ferrymen, Maddie, who is both mentor and friend to Evie when she arrives in Chicago. Flamboyant and funny, Maddie loves bright colors. I can see her wearing these socks with Mary Janes and her favorite ’50s style dress.

The pattern comes with a preview of the book, and includes one of my favorite scenes. If you’re signed up for my mailing list, you’ll also get a coupon for a free pattern, which you can use to download the Electrolite socks.
