February Goal Update 2015

Tags

It’s now just over a month into the new year. How is everyone doing with their resolutions?

Mine are maybe not as good as I had hoped…

1. Do something active for 15 minutes 4 times a week

I’m doing pretty good on this one, actually. I’ve been trying to work out every day. I haven’t always made it, but I do know that I’ve put in at least four days a week, and always at 15 minutes or more. Usually on the weekends I put in a couple of hours at the gym.

2. Travel

My first travel opportunity comes up in April. My ticket is booked, but I still need to find accommodations for that weekend. I’ll be at Steampunk Symposium in Cincinnati. Will anyone else be there?

3. Send out 2 query letters every month

This one hasn’t happened yet, because I’m still waiting to hear back from two of my beta readers. Since beta reading still puts me one step closer to publication, I’m not going to count it against myself. February will probably be spent editing, so the actual letters won’t go out until March.

4. Pay off some debt

In progress. I’ve got one payment left on the repairs that were made to my car back in October, and then I can turn my attention to savings and paying off the student loans.

So I’m off to a slow start, but it’s a start nonetheless. Hopefully I’ll pick up more momentum as the year progresses.🙂

  1. Good work on your resolutions. I make but one and keep it 100% — make no New Year resolutions.

  2. *blush*

Due to some work projects, I’m still not any further than Chapter Eleven. I’ll get on to it tonight!
